Functional Fitness

Movement with strength and ease.

Being functionally fit means you can do the important things in life with adequate strength and fluid movement quality. This can mean simply being able to confidently walk up stairs without pain or play a full tennis match with a friend.

Senior Fitness

Exercise is essential for the aging population to maintain muscle mass and strength, improve balance and agility, and ultimately increase functionality in daily life. Although these physical traits tend to decrease with age, they can be improved to a degree and greatly slow the decline over the long term.

Corrective Exercise

Regain control over your recovery with the knowledge that these exercises are often needed to correct improper movement patterns and strengthen muscles that have become weak due to previous injuries. Common areas like abdominal and gluteal muscles, for example, frequently need strengthening to fully recover from low back pain and allow you to be functionally fit.

Combine corrective exercise with massage therapy as a part of your “return-to-activity” plan for fast recovery and improved movement.

Clean, well-equipped gym in a central location near lots of parking. I've been a client of Jerry's for well over a decade. My sessions with him keep me fit and functioning. Also, he taylors my workouts to work through whatever troubles my body is giving me. Highly recommended!”
