Who we are

Jerry has practical experience helping nearly all populations with their health and fitness goals. This includes working with client’s chronic injuries, keeping athletes healthy for competition, fitness for seniors, those with weight loss goals, and those seeking improvements in strength and performance. 

Jerry began his career as a personal trainer in 2003 while attending Arizona State University. After graduating and getting a solid understanding of personal training and the fitness business, he started JY Fitness in 2007. Soon after he moved back to the Bay Area to further his education in the health sciences to continue helping people improve their health and fitness. He has dedicated over 20 years to teaching proper exercise technique, injury management, nutrition, fitness programs, and performing body work
